js6666金沙登录入口成立于1960年，是安徽省畜牧兽医领域唯一的综合性、公益性研究所。 主要开展畜禽及牧草资源的发掘、保护与育种利用研究，畜禽营养需要、非常规饲料资源开发利用及标准化健康养殖研究,畜禽疫病检测、诊断与综合防控技术研究与应用，为全省畜牧业健康持续发展提供全方位的技术服务。
现有在职职工63人，其中科技人员54人，研究员9人，副研究员19人，博士29人，硕士20人。
建筑面积10000多㎡，其中东山养殖试验场房6000 多㎡。在全省各地有10多个研发基地。拥有固定资产1867万元。建有动物生物技术实验室、饲料安全检测与生物学评价中心、兽医临床诊断指导中心、肉蛋品控制实验室、畜牧微生物实验室、畜禽产品安全工程安徽省重点实验室等6个实验室，实验室面积4000多㎡，拥有各类科研仪器607台（套），其中万元以上大型精密和常规仪器设备100多台套。
积极开展国际学术交流、科技合作活动，曾先后有40余人次到国外进行学术交流和考察，70人次国外学者到本所学术交流。
建所以来，经过几代人的努力，取得了丰硕成果。1982年以来，共获各类科技成果奖48项，其中国家发明奖三等奖1项，部、省级奖30项。出版各类专著、论文集计38册，在国际、全国及省级学术刊物上发表论文750篇，其中SCI论文50篇。有1个动物品种（皖系长毛兔）、2个牧草品种通过国家新品种审定，参与制定《黄山黑鸡》国家标准，获得1个国家二类新兽药(疫苗)，为安徽省畜牧业的发展做出了一定贡献。

Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences, established in 1960, is only comprehensive and public welfare institution in the field in Anhui province. Its research field mainly involves in the livestock/poultry and forage resource discovery and breeding, the animal nutrition, unconventional feed resources development and utilization, the standard healthy raising, as well as the disease diagnosis and integrated control. The institute provides the technical services for the healthy and sustainable development of animal husbandry in Anhui Province.
In the Institute, there are 63 full-time employees，including 54 scientific workers, of whom, 9 scientists are with the title of professor and 19, associate-professor; 29 researchers are with Ph. D degree and 20, MS degree.
The building area of the Institute is more than 10,000㎡, among which, the building area of experimental and raising base is more than 6,000 ㎡.The fixed assets of the Institute is 18.67 million yuan. It has more than 10 research and development bases in Anhui province. There are five labs with the building area of more than 4,000 ㎡: Lab of Animal Biotechnology, Center of Feed Safety Testing and its Biological Evaluation, Guidance Center of Veterinary Clinical Diagnosis, Lab of Animal Product Quality Control and Microbiology Laboratory, equipped with more than 607 instrument/equipments, of which, there are 100 sets with the value of over 10,000 yuan/set.
The international academic exchanges, as well as, scientific and technological（S&T） cooperation activities are carried out by the Institute, actively. About 40 experts went abroad to carry out the academic exchange and more than 70 foreign experts visited the Institute.
Since its foundation, the great achievements have been made after the efforts of several generations. Since 1982, 48 S&T achievements have been awarded, of which, 1 item was awarded the third-place prize of China National Invention and 30 items，awarded at Anhui or ministry level; 38 S&T books and over 750 research papers were published, among them, 50 papers were at SCI level. An angora rabbit breed (Wan Strain Angora Rabbit) and two forage varieties at national level were released, the national standard of Huangshan Black Chicken was formulated as participants, and also, a vaccine was approved as the new national veterinary drug II. The contribution to the development of animal husbandry in Anhui is obvious.
